Can I bring anyone to the meetings with me?
You are allowed to bring one key person employed by your law firm. We encourage this to be your right hand person, especially if that person is in charge of helping you to market your firm. It’s much more productive to have your key person there instead of trying to teach them all you learned.
Where are the meetings held?
The meetings are at the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans. Groups meet on either a Thursday and Friday, or a Monday and Tuesday. This allows you to stay in New Orleans for the weekend before or after the meetings. It’s a great place to visit and you should enjoy the process of learning to grow your firm! So bring your wife or family and make a trip of your program sessions.
Are the meetings confidential? Will what I say be shared outside of the group?
The meetings are confidential and all members sign confidentiality commitments at the start of the program. This helps everyone feel comfortable sharing whatever information they would like to share about their practices.
What if I cannot attend one of the quarterly meetings?
You are encouraged to make all quarterly meetings. But if you absolutely cannot attend, you may still send your key person to the meeting for your firm. Also, you will receive the handouts and worksheets that were covered during the meeting and these will be helpful in getting you started with the concepts we covered. Finally, you can participate in the Monthly Mastery video calls after the meeting where we master the concepts from the meeting and review examples from the program attorneys.
Is there an agenda for each meeting?
At each quarterly meeting core concepts and strategies are introduced and discussed at length. Handouts and worksheets are provided in a quarterly binder for you to keep for future reference. Time is also spent discussing the concepts and creating specific examples for your practice. The meetings are part workshop, part mastermind and part consulting on your specific practice. Since each group is limited to just 10 attorneys, all this to be accomplished in each two day session.
Who leads each meeting?
Tim Young personally leads each meeting and one of his full time marketing specialists will also attend each meeting. Paige Hinrichs and Bethany Jones are marketing experts and have worked with, and implemented, all core concepts for years.
What if one of my area competitors signs up for my program
group and I am not comfortable being in the same group?
group and I am not comfortable being in the same group?
We encourage an abundance mentality and suggest that having someone you may see as a ‘competitor’ in your group would not prevent both of you from significantly growing your practices. But the decision is yours. If you decide after seeing the group roster before the first meeting that you are not comfortable in the same group as another attorney in your geographic area and same practice area, you can either switch to another group or simply leave the program entirely without any cost at all.
